Today is the first day of the spring seadon and as usual Google has come out with something special to mark the first day of spring. This is the photo that they have used in their site this time.
Actually today is also an equinox that is a day on which the sun will be directly over the equator. It happens twice a year once on September 23 and another on March 20. The first day of spring is the beginning of the Nowruz new year according to the Iranian calendar. It is celebrated as an important festival in places populated by the Iranians all over the world.
