Are you one of those greeny freaks? Then here is one thing that is going to cheer you up. eMotion EM-Sol1GIG is a new MP3 player designed to go on with solar power. It may not be as handy as your ipods but is sure to help you out during your hiking trips or camps. It will even charge your cell phone.
The chunky player is pretty heavy and wont fit into your pockets. But, when you open it up what you get is a pair of solar panels that will charge up your players. Even more cooler is that it has six connectors that will
charge up your cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices.
The device is capable of playing MP3, WMA, and WAV audio files, along with AVI and MPEG-4 video. The screen of 3.5-inch, 320-by-240-pixel display is decent enough. The device also does have a text file reader; photo viewer and also a game emulator that can run NES, Gameboy and Sega games. Oh, one more thing it also has got a LED flashlight.
All the features seem really cool but the blockade is that the player lacks a bit in the storage department—it has only 1GB of internal flash memory and a 4GB version is being developed. It has got a SD memory card slot can expand that total by another 2GB.
The chunky made mainly for the woods costs $149 now and is predicted to go down as the market gets up.
