Two under water communication cables were cut in Egypt disrupting internet services all over the world. One of those cable damaged was near Alexandria, Egypt, and the other one were in the waters off Marseille, France. Many customers were affected by this disruption and things were brought under control by re routing the traffic. Some reports say that about 60 % of internet traffic was disrupted but business firms switched to back up plans and were able to get back quickly without much fuss.
